The Global Entrepreneurship Forum
This Code of Conduct sets out the expected standards of behavior and professional integrity for all members of the Global Entrepreneurship Forum (GEF). It is designed to ensure that members uphold GEF’s mission of fostering inclusive, ethical, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship across borders.
All members are expected to uphold the following core values:
Integrity – Act honestly, transparently, and ethically in all engagements.
Inclusivity – Respect diversity and promote equal opportunity regardless of gender, race, religion, nationality, or socioeconomic background.
Innovation – Support creative problem-solving and responsible use of emerging technologies.
Collaboration – Engage constructively with others and contribute to the global entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Sustainability – Commit to practices that promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
As a member of GEF, you agree to:
1. Act in the Best Interests of the Forum
1.1Represent the goals and objectives of GEF professionally and responsibly.
1.2Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose them where they arise.
2. Engage Respectfully
2.1Treat fellow members, partners, staff, and stakeholders with courtesy and respect.
2.2 Refrain from abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.
3. Maintain Confidentiality
3.1 Respect the confidentiality of non-public information shared within GEF platforms, projects, or discussions.
4. Ensure Lawful Conduct
4.1 Comply with all applicable laws, including those relating to anti-bribery, sanctions, intellectual property, and fair competition.
4.3 Do not use your affiliation with GEF for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes.
5. Use GEF Platforms Responsibly
5.1 Contribute constructively in forums, events, or working groups.
5.2 Refrain from unauthorized use of GEF branding or content.
6. Promote Ethical Entrepreneurship
6.1 Encourage ethical business models, fair labor practices, and responsible innovation in all activities.
Members must avoid situations where personal or business interests conflict with those of GEF. Any potential conflict must be disclosed promptly to the Membership Committee.
Breaches of this Code may result in:
A written warning or formal notice;
Suspension of member privileges;
Termination of membership;
Referral to relevant legal or regulatory authorities (in serious cases).
Members are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Code in good faith. Reports may be made confidentially to: compliance@gefuk.com
